Users that are a member of this group will be allowed to run VirtualBox. When VirtualBox is installed a new group ‘vboxusers’ is created. You should see output like the following: Verify that the extension pack has been installed successfully. Do you agree to these license terms and conditions (y/n)? y # sudo VBoxManage extpack install -replace Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.2.6-120293.vbox-extpackĪgree to the license terms and conditions.

OR, if you are upgrading from a previous version of the extension pack, then you will need to add the ‘–replace’ option to uninstall the old version first.
